Ship-from names
The names printed in the FROM block of your labels. Most sites have one for standard shipments and another for blind shipments. A blind label shows only its blind name — never your standard one.
Labels
This sets the default. You can change the count for any shipment before printing.
Dock
Counted from check-in to departure, using the times already recorded on the Dock tab — nothing extra to fill in. Two hours is the usual allowance. Set it to 0 to leave detention out of the report.
Trucks are sent to the lowest free door. When every door is taken you can still move a truck to one — you'll just be asked first.
Shipment feed
OffLet one of your own systems (a plant floor app, a TMS, a spreadsheet) read this dock's shipments: everything still on the dock, plus every shipment whose truck left today or in the past 7 days. It carries the daily report's fields (carrier, BOL, PRO, PO, ship-to, pallets, pieces, weight, status, and the check-in, door and departure times) and never a ship-from name. It is read-only: the key you hand out cannot change anything here.
How your system reads it
Send a GET request with the read key in the
Authorization header, every few minutes. Add
&format=csv to the address for CSV instead of JSON.
- Each shipment has a stable
id. Use it to update rows you already have instead of adding them again. - Times are UTC (ISO 8601).
dateis the dock's own calendar day: the day the truck left, or today while the shipment is still here.timezonenames the dock's clock. statusis one ofready,checked_in,at_door,departed.as_ofis when this computer last sent the feed. If it is more than a few minutes old, no dock computer that sends the feed has the dock page open, or it is offline.- Up to 360 reads an hour. The feed is removed after 30 days without an update.
